Let me tell you
about myself
About
My name is Bruno Bergher. I'm a designer by background, a product leader by career, and an engineer out of laziness (and passion). I've spent close to twenty years building software and the teams behind it, and still push thousands of lines to production every week.
I ran product and design at Metabase and Gladly, reporting to founder CEOs, through the messy years where companies grow fast and need to grow up. Before that, I led design at Google and YouTube, incubated 0-to-1 at Expa and got a couple startups off the ground.
I became a VP of Product without ever having been a PM, and built design departments inside technical companies that didn't realize they needed one. My companies have raised hundreds of millions of dollars.
Today I'm on the founding team at Roomote, a tiny team building an open source cloud coding agent and moving breathtakingly fast.
After years of leading the work, being hands-on in the eye of the AI storm taught me what I actually care about. More than the products, which fade (ethereally), I'm interested in the people, and how they work together.
Which is why I coach. I work with a small number of product/design leaders and founders growing into their new executive roles. I've done that job, and I like helping others do it. More on that here.
I’m originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, spent over a decade in San Francisco, and have lived in Portugal with my family for the past few years. Throughout that, I learned that I can't live far from hills.
